Testimony:
?And when they had preached the gospel to that city and made many disciples, they returned to Lystra, Iconium, and Antioch, strengthening the souls of the disciples, exhorting them to continue in the faith, and saying, ?We must through many tribulations enter the kingdom of God.?
Acts 14:21,22
The apostles and disciples shared their testimonies of their fruits in the spreading of the gospel to strengthen and encourage one another. We would love to hear your testimonies of the fruits of the Elijah Project (evangelism/outreach programs in local churches) established at the AYC?07, as well as other soul-winning testimonies. The sharing of testimonies is vital for the encouragement to all youths; and is always a highlight for all to hear.

Christian Standards of Conduct at Youth Conference 2008

Youth Conference 2008 organisers are making every endeavour that this will be a professionally run conference where the Holy Spirit can work in the hearts of youth. As such, we ask the delegates to Youth Conference 2008 observe a Christian standard of conduct in Personal Devotional time, Attendance, Sabbath observance, Dress and Literature Distribution.
?
Personal devotional time - is the key to personal revival and spiritual growth.

Attendance
- delegates are required to attend all sessions and outreach projects in a diligent and prompt manner.

Sabbath Observance - delegates will be given sufficient time for Sabbath preparation. The Sabbath hours are to be sacredly guarded and enjoyed.

Dress - As Adventist young people we consider it a privilege to reflect a Christ-like spirit and dress modestly. We refrain from immodest clothing or jewellery that reflects worldly principles and draws attention to ourselves. As such, at AYC '08 we have a dress standard that incorporates a clean, professional look in keeping with Biblical standards. We recommend business casual or smart casual attire as appropriate for this conference (We recommend no shorts, ragged jeans, tight-fitting garments, mini-skirts, singlets or low cut blouses). We want to thank you for respecting these standards and, concerning this issue, a little common sense goes a long way (Testimonies Vol 6, p96).

For those involved in organisation or platform sessions, as well as Sabbath attire:
Men - collar shirt, tie and suit
Ladies ? skirt and blouse or Sabbath dress

Literature Distribution - Distribution of all books, literature or media must be first be approved by the Youth Conference 2008 organisers.
