Venue and Accommodation 2008
YC’08 will be held in Sydney, at the Roundhouse, at The University of NSW (UNSW), Anzac Parade, Kensington.
UNSW is located in the eastern suburbs of Sydney, located near the business hub of Australia's largest city and easily accessible from the city and the many nearby seaside suburbs.

Transport to UNSW
Transport coming from the airport to UNSW:
 Catch bus 400/410 - 20mins. Cost one way is $4 for an adult.
 
Transport from the City (Elizabeth street):
 396, 397, 399, L94

Transport from the City, Central Station:
You can catch the 891 from Eddy Ave, Central which is an express bus to the university. Other buses that can be taken from central include the 393,395,391. To catch the bus to central, it is 895 express from the uni or 393,395,391.

 ACCOMMODATION

Onsite accommodation:
New College, Anzac Parade, Kensington

This is a 2-3minute walk to the Roundhouse (conference venue).
 
All single rooms are $55 per night, contain a single bed, desk, chair, lamp, wardrobe, phone for receiving calls and under carpet heating. The single rooms are organized in groups of eight or nine around a common room. This common room has a small kitchenette with a sink and fridge. Each group is made up of a single sex and shares a bathroom which contains two showers and two toilets.

Please note that if you want to stay at the in-house accommodation at the New College, please include with the registration payment the full three nights payment upfront.
